BBC Music posed the brief for the festival to feel non BBC, inclusive, summery and FUN.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
I designed every touchpoint, from tickets and posters to TV and social assets.
The hero image depicts heraldic animals silhouetted against a neon sky, connecting the non stop energy of summer festivals with the huge range of artists performing and four cities celebrating together.
All cities shared elements from the overarching event brand, but each festival had its own identity strongly connected to the location with a single animal supported by the architecture of the city.  
The four events were held together by the design. The distinctive gradient provided a rich and vibrant backdrop to every aspect.
Performers were embraced by the intense hot summer colours of the distinctive gradient in every performance
Posters were crammed with artists. The type layouts maintained legibility over the bold backgrounds.
The background and gradient had a distinctive standout presence on all brand touch points.
Everyone had a hot summer time!
